Sharing their passion for music and a desire to give back to the community a group of 500 Disney Cast Members will transform themselves into singers, actors and dancers as they perform for the 10th consecutive year to benefit a local non-profit organization.

The Encore! Cast Performing Arts group is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the presentation of “Finding Wonderland” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Premier Theater. Performances are scheduled for July 15, 16, 19, 20, 21 and 22 at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $15-$35 ($10 for children) and are now available at www.encorecentral.org. Park admission is not required for this event. Parking is not included in ticket price.

Founded in 2002 Encore gives Walt Disney World Cast Members and their families the opportunity to showcase their talents and perform great music for worthy causes. The group of singers, musicians, dancers, actors, flag performers and support staff volunteer 50,000 hours annually to create, rehearse and produce each Encore show.

Since its inception, Encore has donated all proceeds from ticket sales to local charities, raising more than $175,000 to date. This year beneficiary is A Better Life Pet Rescue, a group that promotes the adoption of rescued animals throughout Central Florida. Past recipients include: the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, United Arts of Central Florida, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, A Gift for Teaching and the Base Camp Children’s Cancer Foundation, among others.
