Disney Store fans have probably noticed that DisneyStore.com, Magical Friday ads, and many of the other holiday communications have featured a lot of Chip, Dale and Pluto this year. This Flashback Post, we’re sharing the inspiration behind the new holiday campaign: Pluto’s Christmas Tree.
Pluto’s Christmas Tree is an animated short first released in 1952.
In the short, Mickey and Pluto bring home their first Christmas tree, but end up with two extra special surprises: Chip and Dale have tagged along!
Once the tree arrives at Mickey’s house, Chip and Dale play all sorts of tricks on Pluto.
At the end, Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale embrace the Christmas spirit, and enjoy the holidays together.
