Oogie Boogie has arrived to Disney Dreamlight Valley

Oogie Boogie from Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas is bringing his tricks to the Valley, and we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know to make the most of his six-week series of challenges.

Starting September 23, you’ll step through the mysterious mirror in Scrooge’s Store, take on a series of weekly challenges, and uncover what this Halloween trickster has planned for the Valley. Just be sure to begin Oogie Boogie’s first quest before November 4th to unlock the full questline and complete it at your own pace. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until next year to get Oogie Boogie.

Along the way, you’ll have the chance to unlock exclusive rewards, including Jack Skellington’s ghostly pup Zero and, ultimately, Oogie Boogie himself!

Event Overview

Season of Scares features a six-week series of quests with Oogie Boogie and his games.

Each week, a new challenge will become available, giving you new activities to complete and rewards to uncover.

To begin Oogie Boogie’s quests, make sure you’ve unlocked:

• The Peaceful Meadow
• Scrooge McDuck’s Store
• Chez Remy
• Once these requirements are met, keep an eye on your Mail and head to Scrooge McDuck’s Store to discover where Oogie Boogie’s quest begins.

Event Schedule

Step into Oogie Boogie’s version of Scrooge’s Store and discover new games and rewards each week throughout the Season of Scares. Check back regularly to see what’s waiting for you!

Here’s the full schedule:

• September 23: Week 1 — A Halloween Invasion
• September 30: Week 2 — The Oogie Boogie Contract
• October 7: Week 3 — The Ghost in the Portrait
• October 14: Week 4 — Rescue Mission
• October 21: Week 5 — Let the Games Begin
• October 28: Week 6 — Oogie Boogie’s Big Game

Note: You don’t need to complete each quest immediately after it becomes available. As long as you begin the first Oogie Boogie quest before November 4th, you’ll be able to continue and complete the remaining quests at your own pace.

After November 4, Oogie Boogie will leave the Valley, but if you’ve begun his quests before the event ends, you’ll still be able to complete his quests and unlock Oogie Boogie as a villager and Zero as a companion.

If you don’t unlock Oogie Boogie during Season of Scares, he’ll return around Halloween next year!

Haunting Elegance Star Path

It’s time to give your Valley a bewitching Halloween makeover with the Haunting Elegance Star Path!

Unlock charming outfits, darkly whimsical furniture, Halloween-inspired decorations, and more as you complete Star Path Duties.

Give your home a festive new look with the Tricks and Treats House and get Scrooge McDuck ready for the season with a new Dream Style.

A Season of Scares Premium Shop

The Premium Shop is getting into the Halloween spirit with plenty of new ways to dress up your Valley.

Look out for the Evil & Good Witch Bundle, featuring magical outfits, enchanting furniture, and matching bee-witching Companions.

You’ll also be able to become Little Red Riding Hood, inspired by Disney’s television series Once Upon a Time, complete with a Big Bad Wolf-inspired canine Companion.

Other additions include Stitch’s Vampire Costume Dream Style, a new Sinister Bridge Kit with a matching garden set, and a Companion Bundle featuring Lucifer from Disney’s Cinderella.

Haunted Floating Festival : October 7–31

Explore the decorated festival grounds, solve new and returning puzzles, and earn exclusive seasonal decorations.

Trick or Treat : October 14–31

Collect delicious Trick or Treater’s Bounty around the Plaza or go door to door at homes featuring a jack-o’-lantern at the door to collect candy. This year’s rewards include new exterior decorations inspired by Halloween Town from Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
