Walt Disney Studios has just announced that tickets are now on sale for the upcoming holiday film, Nutcracker and the Four Realms. In celebration of the news, a new featurette was also released, with special insight from the film’s main cast.
“The Nutcracker was the very first ballet I ever performed in. I was 13 years old and just started dancing” Misty Copeland. Copeland, who plays the Ballerina Princess, has a very special connection with the story and was not alone in her praise of the artistry and significance of the ballet. “Watching it, you’re just captivated by the dancers, every move, every leap and lift that they do, you kind of hold your breath and when it’s over you’re like wow”, said lead actress, Mackenzie Foy.
Foy recently visited the Disneyland Resort to kick off a special preview of the film, which will be screened at Disney California Adventure’s Sunset Showcase Theatre.
