Calling all Indy fans! An announcement from Lucasfilm promises two new opportunities to celebrate the man in the fedora ahead of his final big screen appearance in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Indiana Jones Raider of the Lost Ark will be making a limited theatrical run at the beginning of June. Presented by Fathom Events, there will be two different dates to watch the film on the big screen just in time to prepare for Dr. Jone’s final adventure on the big screen.

Tickets for this special engagement presented by Fathom Events and Paramount Pictures can be purchased at www.fathomevents.com or at participating theatre box offices.

To celebrate at home is the much anticipated 4k individual releases of all four Indy films. These include the original film that started it all as well as, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

They will be available for the first time on 4K Ultra HD individually and nationwide with Dolby Vision and HDR-10 on June 6, 2023.

In 2021, each film was remastered from 4K scans of the original negatives with extensive work done to ensure the most pristine and highest quality image. The pictured work was approved by director Steven Spielberg. In addition, all four films were remixed at Skywalker Sound to create the Dolby Atmos soundtrack.

Each disc will be beautifully packaged with artwork inspired by the original theatrical posters and will include access to a digital copy of each respective film.

There are more than a few ways to celebrate Indiana Jones and his adventures this summer before the release of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny which opens in theaters on June 30th. With a new director at the helm and a new creative team behind the scenes, time will only tell if the magic behind Indiana Jone’s other adventures can be captured again on the big screen.

Harrison Ford has stated this will be his final outing as Indy and the character’s final outing period on screen. Ford has shared his wish on the role that made him a star, that Indiana never be reprised by any other actor. Time will tell if more adventures that feature Ford’s famous archaeologist will ever appear on the big screen. One thing is for sure, fans have more than a few options to celebrate at home and on the big screen.
