Fireworks illuminated the sky above LEGOLAND® California as thousands of children and their families enjoyed the annual Red, White and BOOM! fourth of July event held at the family theme park. The Independence Day celebration featured music, games, entertainment and a spectacular fireworks display.

This year’s family fun event featured a one-of-a-kind patriotic stroller parade competition that invited guests to decorate their strollers in red, white and blue for a chance to win great LEGOLAND prizes. Other activities that filled the day long celebration included games such as LEGO® building races, karaoke and sack races in Miniland U.S.A; musical performances by The Patriots, LEGO® Friends Live and Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band; and amazing entertainment including a magician, unicyclist, juggler and stilt walkers.  At LEGOLAND® Water Park, guests joined in the fun as they relaxed and enjoyed island tunes performed by Hawaiian band, Nalukai.

The fun didn’t stop there as guests ended their amazing day in the park with fireworks set to music to celebrate Independence Day.

LEGOLAND® California Resort includes LEGOLAND California and SEA LIFE™ Carlsbad Aquarium, both geared for families with children between the ages of 2 and 12. At LEGOLAND California, you’ll find more than 60 rides, shows and attractions including the 5.5 acre LEGOLAND® Water Park, the all-new LEGO Star Wars Miniland and Pirate Reef opening this summer.
