With the depart of Epcot’s Norway pavilion ride Maelstrom, we now have a first look at its replacement “Frozen Ever After.” The attraction will bring guests into the world of “Frozen” through use of iconic scenes and music. The ride will take guests right in the middle of Arendelle’s Winter-in-Summer celebration where Queen Elsa embraces her ice powers and purposely freezes over the kingdom for the day. Guests will also take a trip up the north mountain to visit familiar locations such as Elsa’s ice palace where they may just come across Snowball and the Snowgies from the “Frozen Fever” animated short. As well, the Norway pavilion will also be expanded to feature a meet-and-greet area with Elsa and Anna themselves!
Since its release in 2013, Disney’s “Frozen” was an instant hit among all ages. Since then the characters have been very prevalent through many of the Disney parks including multiple meet-and-greet locations, Themed parades, and Stage shows. Hollywood Studios also features “Frozen” summer fun days (June 17- September 07, 2015) that included “Frozen” royal welcomes, “Frozen” fireworks shows, the “Frozen” sing along attraction, premium packages , and much more.
