JJ Abrams has shared the very first look at Star Wars Episode IX, giving fans confirmation that shooting has indeed commenced at Pinewood Studios as promised. With the Tweet, you can see a quick look at John Boyega, vaguely verifying Finn back in action for the next Star Wars sequel.

The tweet also pays tribute to the late Carrie Fisher, who will be returning as Princess Leia one final time. The news broke recently when Lucasfilm released the entire cast list for the new movie, which also includes the return of Mark Hamill and Billy Dee Williams.
