World’s Largest Barbecue Franchise Throws Grand Opening Event this Week
Come enjoy slow smoked barbecue, served fast at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit this Friday, August 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Folsom. In honor of this event Dickey’s will be serving $1 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches and three lucky customers will win free barbecue for an entire year.
“Folsom is a gold-rush town and barbecue is integral to the town’s roots,” said franchise owner Ann Snook who runs this location with her husband Ray and children Grace and Joel. “Our food is a perfect fit for this community and we offer something so unique that people just love us.”
The Snook family is originally from England and moved to California 10 years ago. Grace worked for Dickey’s and enjoyed the concept and food so much that when it came time for the family to choose a franchise there was no question—it had to be Dickey’s.
This smokin’ new location is at 1016 Riley Street, Suite 4 and 5. Dickey’s is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. The Snook family hopes to open another location later this year.
Since 1941, the world’s largest barbecue franchise has offered free kids meals every Sunday and affordable family packs designed to bring the whole family together for dinner. Family packs come with a choice of two meats, three medium sides, six rolls and Dickey’s famous barbecue sauce.
