Calaca Mamas Cantina, Anaheim’s vibrant Day of the Dead-inspired eatery, is bringing the fiesta with an all-new Happy Hour. Available exclusively at the bar and on the patio daily, the ‘Happiest Hour’ programming runs Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and weekends from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Founded by sisters and second-generation restaurateurs Angela and Mariam El Haj, the family-friendly establishment has become a community staple, known for its lively atmosphere, friendly team, and dedication to sourcing organic, locally grown ingredients for every dish. The new Happy Hour offerings reflect the restaurant’s values, inviting guests to create lasting memories and savor a range of bold, bite-sized flavors and refreshing beverage options.

The food options include a variety of small plates featuring Calaca Mamas’ signature flavors, from tacos and taquitos to mini birria tortas and tostadas – all made from scratch with organic proteins, grass-fed beef, and non-GMO produce. Menu highlights include:

  • Papaquitos — (Three fried rolled corn tortillas, potato, tomato, jalapeno, garlic, red and green cabbage, salsa macha, crema, cotija cheese, micro cilantro) $10.00
  • Toasty Vampiros — (Two mini tostadas, jack cheese, pollo asado, chili de arbol salsa, marinated onions, limes) $10.00
  • Mini Birria Tortas — (Two mini slider rolls, birria meat, avocado mousse, cheese crust, onions, cilantro, potato tots, jalapenos, limes) $12.00
  • Guac N’ Rollin Birria — (Three Birria filled phyllo dough rolls, jack cheese, birria salsa, guacamole, cilantro, onions, limes) $11.00
  • Tell Me I’m Pretty Street Tacos — (Three total; One carne asada, one pollo asado, one chicken al pastor, made with corn tortillas, topped with onions, micro cilantro, limes) $12.00

The menu raises the bar with shareable cocktail options, freshly shaken with top-of-the-line spirits, house-made syrups, and organic juices. Specials extend to select beers and wines, with deals on California-based brands. The drinks menu includes:

  • Happiest Sangria Pitcher — Pitcher of House-made sangria, makes 4 generous glasses (Martin Rey red wine, La Pivón white vermouth, lemon juice, sugar, fresh seasonal fruit, cinnamon stick) $32.00
  • Make Me Happy Margarita Flight — The flight includes mini versions of the signature La Flaca and two of the Sisters’ choice of limited-edition margaritas. Ask your server or bartender for the current offerings. $15.00
  • Vino de la Casa — 9oz Martin Ray Cabernet / California or 9oz Marin Ray Chardonnay/ California $7.00
  • Calaca Mama Mexican Lager — Artifax / San Clemente $8.00
