Summertime at Walt Disney World Resort promises extra magic this year! Guests will soon join the party in The Big Easy when Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens at Magic Kingdom Park. Additionally, four new, limited-time summer celebrations will delight visitors across the resort.
At Disney Springs, the “Disney Dreams That Soar” experience will illuminate the skies above Lake Buena Vista. This late-night spectacle will showcase Disney flight-themed stories with state-of-the-art drones, a soaring musical score, and memorable movie quotes. After a full day of shopping, activities, and dining at Disney Springs, guests can enjoy this dazzling display from May 24th through September 2nd.

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests will soon encounter Joy from Disney Pixar’s “Inside Out”! She’ll join other Pixar stars in Pixar Plaza, arriving just in time for the June 14th theatrical premiere of “Inside Out 2”. Visitors can create core memories with a cute new selfie space, as well as character greetings, delicious snacks, and merchandise in Pixar Plaza. For extra Pixar flair, the Beverly Sunset Boutique will offer new Pixar-themed fashions.
EPCOT continues its grand transformation, with extra summer fun starting June 10th! This includes a limited-time “Encanto” sing-along, “¡Celebración Encanto!”, where guests can sing their favorite songs and see Mirabel and Bruno on the CommuniCore Plaza stage. This celebration runs several times daily from June 10th through September 6th.
As part of EPCOT’s transformation, the remaining park barriers will be removed, allowing guests to stroll through a fully reimagined EPCOT. CommuniCore Hall will offer a cool space to recharge while surrounded by serene views and exciting experiences. Mickey & Friends will soon debut their new character greeting location there!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park will roar with a special 30th-anniversary celebration for “The Lion King” from June 10th through September 6th. Guests can enjoy a new merchandise collection, themed snacks, a special Pumbaa popcorn bucket, and the return of Timon and Rafiki meet-and-greets at Rafiki’s Planet Watch. Animation Experience will also offer drawing lessons for “The Lion King” characters.
