The boys are back in town with a sensational musical journey depicting the rise and pitfalls of fame, fortune, and family. The rock and roll singing group, The Four Seasons, is brought to startling life as if they’ve never left the stage. 3-D Theatricals in association with La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment present the Tony®, Olivier®, and Grammy® award-winning musical, Jersey Boys: The Story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice. Music by Bob Gaudio. Lyrics by Bob Crewe. Musical Direction by Allen Everman. Choreography by Dana Solimando (Swing!, Hairspray). Direction by T.J. Dawson (Mamma Mia!, Newsies).

The four core members of the band recount to the audience the creation, obstacles, and compromises that shaped their lives into forming, securing, and propelling their recognizable musical talents into sparkling stardom. The French cover of the song “Oh What a Night”, “Ces soirées-lá” reminds the audience of the everlasting sound and popularity that the original came from. Jumping back in time from the year 2000, back to 1950s New Jersey, and forward from there. Tommy DeVito (Chris Fore) sees astronomical potential in Frankie Valli (Noah Rivera).

They join with longtime friend and singing band member Nick Massi (Blake Burgess). Bob Gaudio (Taubert Nadalini) is added through a mutual acquaintance as an impressed singer-songwriter. Through struggling hurtles of unpromising recordings and waning interest, a sudden string of hits with “Sherry”, “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, and “Walk Like a Man”, captures the attention of the American audience. Their massive success only came with equal amounts of loss and debt. An emotional duet with the loss of a youthful child sends tears and chills down one’s soul.

“Jersey Boys: The Story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons” follows the musical jukebox heels of other outstanding productions presented at La Mirada after successful entries such as “Million Dollar Quartet” and “On Your Feet!”. The pacing is kept tight with quick scene changes, precision in blocking and dance choreography, tough Italian Jersey mannerisms, and vocal performances to melt into your seat.

Live musicians appearing and reappearing on stage highlight the insurmountable talent gathered for this breathtaking production. The visual spectacle of the band performing toward a television studio camera and then rearranging to perform live at the audience expertly builds up each show-stopping number. Everyone will be singing “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”. Your ears will have a hard time doing the same.

Now playing on select times through Sunday, May 12, 2024, at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts. Recommended for mature audiences only. The explicit language used—open-captioned performance on Saturday, May 4 at 2 pm.

Universal Studios Hollywood just dropped a bombshell, folks! Starting April 27th, get ready for “The Fall Guy Stuntacular Pre-Show”, an epic collaboration with 87North, the crazy stunt geniuses behind movies like Bullet Train and John Wick. And hey, this ties in perfectly with their new movie, The Fall Guy, starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, hitting theaters May 3rd.

This ain’t your ordinary show. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at those insane stunts you see on screen, performed LIVE right at the iconic WaterWorld set! Expect explosions, crazy fights, and maybe even a few surprise cameos. Talk about immersive!

What exactly is MyDisney?

MyDisney is the name of a new capability Disney has introduced that gives guests a seamless login experience by using just a single email and password across services and experiences from The Walt Disney Company.

When you log in using your personal account information, you will now see the same MyDisney login prompt everywhere you go asking for the same email and password, creating a more seamless login experience.

“MyDisney is our latest innovation designed to make life easier for our consumers, allowing them to manage all their Disney-related services with one unified account,” Ajay Arora, SVP, Commerce, Growth & Identity for Disney Entertainment & ESPN, said.

How is MyDisney going to make life easier as a Disney consumer?

If you’re someone who manages different passwords across various accounts with a single email address, this is great news for you, because now you can use a single email and password as your MyDisney login.

“This move not only reflects our commitment to technological innovation but also our dedication to creating hassle-free, memorable experiences for our consumers,” Arora added.

Do I need to take action with my existing accounts to make them MyDisney compatible?

Disney is making it as simple as possible for you.

At your next login attempt on any MyDisney compatible service, when you enter into a password-restricted feature, Disney will ask you to update your password. From then on, that password is the only one you’ll need to remember.

That means that going forward, any other MyDisney compatible service will ask you to use only that same email and password via the same prompt.

What services and experiences can I streamline through MyDisney?

Most of Disney’s most popular sites and apps can now be accessed through MyDisney.

Studio Tour Hollywood and Turner Classic Movies (TCM) forge a thrilling partnership, launching the TCM Classic Films Tour to mark TCM’s 30th anniversary. The tour delves into the heart of the Warner Bros. backlot, emphasizing those magical early days of filmmaking. Step inside the Eastwood Scoring Stage, built in 1929, where the music of countless films was brought to life. And the Property House… a treasure trove of over half a million props, including relics from Captain Blood and the dazzling Tiffany’s chandelier from The Letter.

Before your adventure, enter the state-of-the-art screening room. Historical photographs from the Warner Bros. archive line the walls, and a specially curated introduction video from TCM’s beloved hosts – Ben Mankiewicz, Eddie Muller, Jacqueline Stewart, Alicia Malone, and Dave Karger – sets the stage.

Joining Ben Mankiewicz on stage for the grand opening and a Q&A with invited press, actor Burton Gilliam reminisced the golden years of shooting 1974’s “Blazing Saddles” on the Warner Bros. Studio lot with Mel Brooks as director. It was only the actor’s second professional film shoot and still hasn’t been told by the director if he did well in the movie. Burton also stated how Warner Bros. Studios will always be his home studio.

Imagine rustic wood accents, charming vintage-inspired details, and all the modern comforts you need. We were invited to stay at the hotel and enjoyed the amenities Knott’s had to offer. During our stay we also enjoyed the breakfast buffet which had some great options to please everyone.

Two of pop culture’s biggest names, Marvel and Coca-Cola, have teamed up for an epic collaboration: “Coca-Cola x Marvel: The Heroes”. This campaign brings beloved Marvel heroes and villains to life on limited-edition Coca-Cola packaging. Fans can scan the unique designs for an exclusive augmented reality (AR) experience.

The campaign includes a thrilling new TV commercial and a chance to win incredible prizes like a Disney Cruise, Marvel movie screenings, and Disney+ subscriptions.

“This unprecedented campaign taps into the power of the Marvel Universe,” said Mindy Hamilton, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing Partnerships at The Walt Disney Company.

Hail to the King, baby! Ash of the “Evil Dead” movie franchise is back in action as musical stage gore-glory! Any horror movie fan familiar with five college students taking a rambunctious trip to a cabin in the woods containing a Book of the Dead to summon demonic spirits partaking in a fight for the ultimate survival until sunrise… will gleefully love and be delighted by this madcap musical twist.

Everything you could ever want in a high-energy horror comedy musical is all here. From crude adult humor, bountiful profanity, severed body parts, infectious choreography, burrowing earworms, and spewing blood, “Evil Dead: The Musical” delivers not-to-be-missed uproarious calamity.

Spring break will never be the same with this halfway-to-Halloween treat. We certainly hope this show becomes an annual tradition amongst the theater’s seat-filling lineup comfortably alongside the audience’s favorite stage play of “Night of the Living Dead”.
