Pixar Pier opens up the public this weekend, providing fans their first look at the newly re-imagined, Incredicoaster. To celebrate the new ride, Disney Parks sat down with legendary composer, Michael Giacchino. Fresh off the release of Disney-Pixar’s box office smash, The Incredibles 2, Giacchino shared his work in the recording studio, preparing for the new coaster’s grand opening.
The coaster will be the focal point of the new pier, blasting you into the world of The Incredibles. You will race along with the Parrs as they try to capture the elusive baby Jack-Jack. The musical score provided by Giacchino, will add to the story, fitting in with the twists and turns fans will experience as they go through the ride.
Giacchino has been a long standing partner with Disney Parks, providing scores for the iconic Space Mountain (Disneyland Park), as well as Ratatouille: The Adventure (Disneyland Paris), and Star Tours- The Adventures Continues (partnering with the legendary John Williams).
Make sure to stay tuned for more Pixar Pier news and updates, as SoCalThrills will be providing continuing coverage throughout opening weekend! The fun begins June 23rd.
