The dress will be available in both adult and children’s sizes. Robes, scarves, and other Hogwarts apparel will be in stock, just in time for your next adventure in the wizarding world.

You can learn all about what’s coming next by visiting Universal Studios’ official site. Prepare yourselves for a summer full of fun and magic!

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Movie Review

After the emotional whiplash of Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel fans deserve a respite from the intense drama and overwhelming uncertainty that was left for them to process. Ant-Man and the Wasp is just what the doctor ordered, providing a fresh dose of comedy and plenty of incredibly fun sequences that still manage to keep you asking questions about what comes next.

Ant-Man and the Wasp feels like a standalone film, bringing the world of Scott Lang center focus. After over ten years of easter eggs, hints, and Nick Fury filled connections to larger crossovers, this movie hones in on a more individualized narrative. The film follows Scott in the aftermath of his decision to fight alongside Steve Rogers in Captain America: Civil War. In a plea deal with the FBI, Scott goes under 2 years of house arrest, severely limiting his freedom and creating a strain on his ability to be the father he wants to be for his daughter, Cassie. All the while, Scott also has to come to terms with how his epic battle in Germany will affect the relationships he has with Hank Pym and his daughter, Hope. Given what we know from the first film, the stakes are all personal, and the key theme is family.

The same can be said for Hope and her father, Hank. This film gives us our first real look at their past, shedding the light on the tragic loss of Hope’s mother in the Quantum Realm. We also get to take a closer look at Hank and Hope’s relationship, growing beyond the antagonism that we started with in the first act. It’s a shift away from the constant worry of world ending stakes, and instead, creates a path for a fun side trip into what makes these characters so strong and relatable. Still, the film doesn’t turn into a sappy soap opera, as it still stays true to the Marvel formula of fast paced action. New York takes a back seat, since we are back in San Francisco, learning about a mysterious new villain that appears to phase in and out of the Quantum Realm. Played by Hannah John-Kamen, Ava is unique, hell bent on her own agenda and someone that will prove to be a worthy foe to Ant-Man and the rest of the gang.

Not surprisingly, the most entertaining part of the entire film is Hope. Evangeline Lily kicks some serious ass, being in total control and rolling with the punches as they come along. Hope’s arc is fantastically written, giving Lily the perfect opportunity to capitalize on every moment, bringing us to the edge of our seats while reminding you that she’s in charge. There is a reason this film has double billing, and Hope’s character does not let it go to waste. There is plenty to conquer, and Evangeline Lily does not disappoint. In that same thread, Paul Rudd also delivers a stellar performance, reminding us that there’s more to saving the world than super powers. Rudd is phenomenal, being just as hilarious as he is grounded in his role as Scott. Michael Douglass is just as charming and funny, reprising his role as Doctor Hank Pym. The entire supporting cast returns, including Michael Pena and Abby Ryder Fortson. Each of them do a wonderful job at keeping the fabric of the film together. As for Michelle Pfeiffer, fans are in for a fun treat, and for the sake of avoiding spoilers, all we can say is, it is great to have her on board and a part of the Marvel Universe.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is solid, providing the best of what Marvel can do without feeling like the same old story. There is still something new to bring to the table, and there is also plenty of laughter to come along for the ride. Don’t worry though, as there are some hints and details leading up to the connections to Infinity War. With the wounds of Thanos still fresh, it’s great to have a chance to smile again.

A Colorful Look at Pixar Pier’s Attractions and Entertainment

The world of Pixar Pier has been revealed, bringing in a wide assortment of fun entertainment offerings for fans to enjoy and take part in. From the new “Incredicoaster” to boardwalk games, to the Paint the Night Parade, there’s something for the whole family.

Right off the bat, let’s kick it into high gear and hop onto the “Incredicoaster”. Dedicated to the Incredibles, this coaster is filled with stunning visuals and unique twists and turns. Just as we stated in our coverage of opening weekend, this ride keeps the speed and daring spins of California Screamin’ in tact while creating a story based coaster with some real character. Check out the full ride through below, which also includes a walk through of the new queue. You will find descriptions of each character along with an entertaining preshow.

Make sure to look closely as you start the attraction, as you will get a good look at Edna and Jack-Jack. As you go through the ride, you will also get to see the entire family in action, but there are still some details that may be missed. The first being Dash’s surprise cameo at the beginning of the ride. As you are launching, look to the left, as you will see the water splashing at a high speed along the side of your car. This isn’t by accident, as Dash is moving so quickly, you only see the water trail he leaves behind. It’s a cool little touch that may be hard to see on your first outing. You can also find Jack-Jack multiplying towards the end of the coaster, taking over the entire building tops of Toy Story Mania! Make sure to pay close attention, as a lot of the special touches for each part of the coaster whip by in a flash. Once you are done, make sure to grab a snack at Jack-Jack’s Cookie Num Num’s, which you can read all about by checking out our food overview.

For fans of the original Boardwalk Games, a new twist can be found that brings new prizes and fun. Each game focuses on various Pixar characters from the films and shorts La Luna, Wall-E, A Bug’s Life, and Toy Story. The idea is simple, and the game mechanics stay the same as the original version; however, the prizes are brand new, bringing in a new challenge for those hardcore collectors. For the little ones, it also creates a fresh look that is easy to play along with.

A special look at some of the new prizes you can win at the Games of Pixar Pier!

The games are apart of the new Pixar Promenade, featuring character meet and greets, special dance parties, as well as musical performances. We had a chance to encounter Russell from Up and listen to the new band, The Pixarmonic Orchestra. This charming musical symphony performs various Pixar themed songs and jingles. Our favorite segment is the random segway into the Tripledent Gum commercial. The annoying jingle from Inside Out fits in perfectly and is good for a quick laugh. Pixar Promenade is just one of the special neighborhoods that can be found in the Pixar Pier.

When the sun goes down, the play continues in the Pier area as fans prepare for the Paint the Night Parade. To celebrate Pixar Pier, The Incredibles have joined the nighttime spectacular with their very own float. The sequence includes Mr. Incredible and Elastagirl at the forefront while Frozone, Jack-Jack, and Dash are also featured throughout the various elements of the float. Check it out for yourself below in this special first look from the float’s opening night.

The float is a spectacular addition to the parade, which we were able to get a closer look at in this exclusive behind the scenes video. Check out the amazing footage, showcasing the special effects and light elements that bring everything to life. The most impressive details come from Jack-Jack and Dash. Both are full of color and come together for a visually stunning presentation.

Don’t miss out on all the excitement! Pixar Pier is now open to guests and will continue to bring in new surprises within the coming months. Check out our full entertainment gallery below, showcasing more of the fun you’ll discover when you visit!

The Foods and Treats of Pixar Pier

Venturing into Pixar Pier, there is so much to do, so much to see, and most importantly, so much to eat. Pixar Pier has debuted a huge food selection, ranging from quick snacks, to unique meals, to delectable desserts.

First off, let’s tackle the snack and quick portion of the Pier. For a sweet start to your adventure, fly over to Senor Buzz Churros. Buzz has selected two treats, which include the Caliente Churro (A twist on a classic that packs a punch), and the Cinnamon Sugar Galaxy Churro. Both are available for $5.25 and will be located directly across from Toy Story Mania!

Angry Dogs is also available, featuring two choices of hot dogs for fans needing a quick moment to refuel. Anger from Inside Out has given some of his attitude to the stand, creating the Angry Dog and Slightly Annoyed Dog. The price ranges from $6.99 to $7.99.

The Slightly Annoyed version of the meal is a standard hot dog that comes with a small bag of chips. However, if you want a chance to have a bit of a kick, the Angry Dog comes with a spicy all beef hot dog. The chip side is also spicy, being of the Flamin’ Hot Cheeto Fry variety. When we experienced the dog for ourselves, we decided to dress it up a bit, combining the fire and creating our own custom treat. The dog features the hot fries in addition to spicy condiments (Brown Mustard and Spicy Buffalo Sauce). When you get your hot dog, you can add your own condiments, ranging in heat, to bring the most out of your meal. It’s a fun addition that fits perfectly for on the go trips.

Should you want something more substantial, Pixar Pier has you covered. For the full meal experience, you have two locations to choose from.  If you love chicken and want something fast, Poultry Palace is your one stop shop. You can grab a classic turkey leg or a box of chicken drumsticks, each coming with a side of coleslaw. The drumsticks are amazing, having a nice seasoning that is full of flavor.

Chicken aside, the best of the Pier comes in the newly opened Lamplight Lounge. This classy ode to all things Pixar really brings it all together. You get the calm atmosphere, the stunning visual artistry and design, as well as some really incredible bites and meal offerings. As you enter, you are given a taste of famous Pixar moments with unique art prints from all over the Pixar library. Quotes can be found all over, featuring some of your favorite lines from The Incredibles, Up, and Toy Story.

Menu options range from fun and delicious appetizers like the crispy Potato Skins, which we sampled and fell in love with, to hearty meals such as a custom blended Cheddar Burger and film famous, Ratatouille. You can take a look at the full menu here. The small bites and drink menu will be available in the upstairs lounge. Previously the location for Cove Bar, guests can walk up and enjoy the lounge in a first come, first serve style. The downstairs restaurant will feature the full menu and be primarily based on reservations. The venue is booking fast, so make sure to check out reservations before they are all gone! Walk ins will be made available, but will be on a limited basis, so make sure to ask a host when you visit.

Once you have had a chance to settle in, make sure to explore the lounge in detail, as you will find subtle nods, one of a kind memorabilia, and secret rooms. Around every corner is a surprise, and you will not be disappointed. To wrap it all up, make sure to try the lounge’s signature dessert, donuts. They are freshly fried, coming with two special dipping sauces that are perfect for sharing. If you are unable to finish, you can ask for them to go, as they come in a special and compact box. Evey detail is exquisite. Even the coasters are a good souvenir, highlighting various characters and artists from the entire Pixar universe.

The secret room, which you can see from the last image above, is a nice relaxing location, surrounded by one of a kind sketches of the thinkers and animators behind Pixar. To access the room, a door must be opened after a specific sequence of levers and buttons. It creates a fun puzzle, allowing an exclusive experience that fits well with the theme of the venue. In addition to the main table, a secondary set of chairs can be found along with another passageway. The door will lead you outside to a small deck, looking out towards the Pier and the “Incredicoaster”. Though whether or not it will be available for all guests is still a question. Feel free to ask more about the room when you arrive, as it may be for special occasions.

To wrap up your adventure in Pixar Pier, make sure to check out the sweeter side of things with Jack Jack’s Cookie Num Nums and the Adorable Snowman’s Frosted Treats. Jack Jack’s can be found just outside the “Incredicoaster” and will have three baked options for you to sink your teeth into. The signature is his own favorite, Cookie Num Num, which is the ultimate chocolate chip cookie with an ooey goey center. You can also find a nice shortbread cookie in addition to the “Incredicookie”. Make sure to grab a glass of milk, as there will be plenty of varieties available.

If you need a cooler option, Adorable Snowman hosts special lemon soft serve varieties in addition to vanilla and chocolate classics. The premiere item is the Pixar Pier Frosty Parfait. It’s a perfect and quite shareable dessert that gives you a very memorable fruit explosion. The It’s Snow-Capped Lemon! tops it all of with a special white chocolate topping with lemon soft serve. Please don’t eat it too fast, as brain freezes are quite possible.

So many amazing food options, but there is still more to come! Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff is still being completed, which will be a fun candy store directly inspired by the imaginary friend from Inside Out. From what we’ve seen so far, there will be a lot of tasty additions that include cake pops, candied apples, and prepackaged goodies.

Pixar Pier is now open and will be available as a part of Pixar Fest. You can read all about it by clicking here! A full slide show is below, showcasing plenty of the amazing foods you will find along the Pier. There will be plenty of fun to go around, so make sure to swing by today!

Drakesbad Guest Ranch Welcomes Visitors for 118th Year of Rustic Charm

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Summer is upon us and that means that one of my favorite Northern California hideaways is ready for yet another season of rustic charm and excitement. On June 8 Drakesbad Guest Ranch reopened after a winter break to celebrate 118 years of welcoming visitors to Lassen Volcanic National Park and a myraid of outdoor adventure and relaxation.

Located in Cascade Mountains in Northeastern California, near the tiny town of Chester, the ranch offers guests a secluded mountain experience with hiking, horseback riding, swimming, natural wonders and endless beauty.

On my last visit to the guest ranch a friend and I checked into a small bungalow room at the base of a hill, surrounded by a giant meadow and a towering forest of trees. Like most rooms at the ranch, ours didn’t have electricity, but made up for it in old-time charm. The room came with two wooden beds, a heater, and a bathroom with shower and a solar lamp and kerosene lantern.

Our quarters also boasted a wooden patio protruding into the meadow, with spectacular views of Lassen Volcanic Park, surrounding mountains, the hot springs pool and resident horses. The patio is also a great place to meet the ubiquitous deer and marmots that graze in the tall grasses a few feet from the room. All rooms include a full or half bath and are gas heated. Housekeeping services are provided daily.

Once settled in, we joined other Drakesbad guests at the main building for a gourmet dinner of wild boar loin with summer corn and sugar peas rice pilaf, dijon sauce, spring mint vegetable medley. With this we sipped Lassen Peak Chardonnay and looked ahead at an exciting two more nights at the ranch.

After dinner we soaked in the soothing hot mineral springs-fed pool. Still in the same spot since Drakesbad (German for Drake’s bath), opened in 1900, the pool is a great way to unwind after a day in the 5,000-ft elevation of the mountains. Back at the room, I lit the kerosene lantern and read about the legendary history of the ranch and all the hydrothermal wonders such natural steam vents, bubbling mudpots, hot springs and volcanic rock that surround it. Devil’s Kitchen is a perfect example of these natural phenomena.

To get to Devil’s Kitchen we hiked about an hour through lovely Warner Valley meadows and forests. The journey took us over wooden bridges, past lonely creeks and through marsh and thick woodlands to an eerily beautiful area, encompassed by crackled yellow and red mounds of earth erupting with streams steam. As the steam swirls into the air it hisses and plops and sounds like the earth is cooking.

The volcanic park’s unique hydrothermal system is caused when rain and snow water fall and seep deep into the ground and is heated by hot molten rock beneath Lassen Peak. Rising hot water boils to form boiling pools and mud pots. Super-heated steam reaches the surface through fractures in the earth to form fumaroles like those at Devil’s Kitchen.

After our hike we returned to Drakesbad’s restaurant, where we devoured roasted duck with prunes and juniper berries, homemade stuffing triads, beet root arugula salad, and currant wine sauce.

Back at the room I lit the kerosene lantern and fell asleep reading an old book. In the morning we had a great county breakfast in the lodge and saddled up for a horseback ride to Terminal Geyser.

Horses have been a part of Drakesbad since the early 1900’s. The ranch offers guided trail rides (check website for pricing) for beginners and experts. Our 3-hour trek through the forest and meadows came with post card views of Lassen Peak, nearby Lake Almanor, and glorious fields of Mule Ears flowers.

Other fun activities and Drakesbad include fishing expeditions, massage treatments, and numerous things for the kids such as treasure hunts, arts and crafts, “ice cream socials,” and star gazing nights.

Drakesbad Guest Ranch is located in Lassen Volcanic National Park in Northern California. The ranch is open until October 8. Three meals per day are included with price of room and kids under 6 stay free. For more information on visiting Drakesbad Guest Ranch, call (866) 999-0914 or visit: www.drakesbad.com

Pixar Pier Now Open at the Disneyland Resort

Disney Parks fans got their first chance to visit the long awaited Pixar Pier, which just debuted in the heart of Disney California Adventure. The new overlay is filled with new experiences, foods, merchandise, and photo opportunities. It’s a bright, fun, colorful adventure worth exploring!

The most talked about addition to Pixar Pier is the new “Incredicoaster”. With the same speed and track as the former, California Screamin’, this coaster is a high speed thrill ride that brings you right into the story of Disney-Pixar’s Incredibles. Jack Jack’s new powers take over the coaster, and the rest of his family comes along for the ride. The entire attraction has been given character, providing a quick look at some of his amazing skills. Each twist and turn leads you into a quest to bring baby Jack Jack home, though you may be in for a few surprises. You can take a closer look for yourself by checking out our ride through overview, which puts you right in the middle of the action.

Speaking of action, there’s still plenty to do over at the Midway. The Toy Story themed neighborhood is home to the classic, Toy Story Midway Mania, in addition to the updated Pixar-Pal-Around, which is a new twist on the original, Mickey’s Fun Wheel. Now Pixar Characters will take the sky and bring you to new heights. Though, we will stick to the stationary gondola if you don’t mind. For those more daring, feel free to take a quick swing around the bay!

There will be more attractions on the way to the Pier, including the recently announced, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind. Opening in 2019, it’s a family friendly ride that is promised to be full of emotion. The new Inside Out attraction will be joined by Jessie’s Critter Carousel, which will also arrive next year.

As the Pier has just opened, there are still some finishing touches needed before the themed area becomes fully operational. Yet, that doesn’t mean there won’t be a shortage of things to do. The area is filled with color, character meet and greets, and photo opportunities. The highlight of it all is the fabulous, Edna Mode, who can be found mingling near the “Incredicoaster”. Make sure to grab a quick glamour shot, as her debut is sure to be a big smash. The entry to the pier will also feature new billboards, each hosting various Pixar characters, and providing fresh looks for you to create your own Pixar themed photo shoot.

Once you are done soaking in the sights and sounds, there will be plenty of food offerings to keep you happy and full of delicious daydreams. If you want a quick snack, Buzz Lightyear will be serving churros at Senor Buzz Churros, Jack Jack will have special baked treats, including his famous chocolate chip favorite, and Anger will be firing up things over at his new hot dog stand, Angry Dogs.

The only challenge is knowing where to start, which has been made easy with Pixar Pier’s new food guide. It can be found inside the Pier, at Knick’s Knacks, a wonderful Pixar Short inspired gift shop, filled with plenty amazing new merchandise and special one of a kind trinkets.

Though, make sure to save some room, as the beacon of deliciousness will be at the newest hotspot, The Lamplight Lounge. Featuring a bar lounge and restaurant, this place is hopping and full of classy references from all your favorite Pixar films. As you wander around, you’ll see famous quotes, behind the scenes snapshots, as well as one a kind Pixar props and collections from the studio. The menu is filled with special nods, including the iconic Ratatouille, which is a delicious way to celebrate your love of all things Pixar. Reservations are filling fast, so make sure to check with Disney Dining for your chance to enjoy all Lamplight Lounge has to offer.

Pixar Pier is now open, welcoming guests of all ages to take part in the fun. Pixar Fest will continue until September 3rd. Make sure to stay tuned for more exciting updates, as SoCalThrills will be providing a full overview of the food, entertainment offerings, and more!

‘The Color Purple’ Review – Strong On Music, Soft On Story

The critically acclaimed and Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of THE COLOR PURPLE – THE MUSICAL has made its touring debut at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa. A production that has received much praise, but even with a few strong performances, its powerful content and boisterous songs can’t overcome the shows unexciting stage production and faults in story progression. It’s a musical that focuses on its showstoppers, but these epic notes fall flat on songs that are less than memorable.

Despite my perhaps less than friendly introduction, THE COLOR PURPLE is still a good show. Those that are already familiar with the cast recordings will still love this production. Our showing had no Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls) or Danielle Brooks (Orange is the New Black) level of stardom or stage presence the Broadway revival had the luxury of, but it still showcases some momentous vocal talent. However, several performances felt empty. Something was missing, and I fear some comes from the understudy playing the leading role.

Based on the 1982 novel by Alice Walker, THE COLOR PURPLE follows the journey of Celie (Adrianna Hicks normally), an African-American woman in the South of early to mid 1900s. Starting in 1909, the story follows Celie through many trials and tribulations through the 1940s. Taking on many serious subjects from domestic beatings and unwanted advances to Celie’s father ripping away her children from her.

All of these subject matters are not be taken lightly, and one would think the show would be depressingly dark, but surprisingly some items are glossed over. Perhaps this is done to lighten up the show helping support some of the more gospel-like upbeat music. I may not remember the 1985 feature film with Oprah and Whoopi well, but I would appreciate the stage production more if it would dive deeper into these serious topics. Make me feel a little uncomfortable for a moment, make me feel for these grotesque times the characters must ordeal, and in the end allow these emotions to build up to a heavenly release of endorphins when the woman conquer over them.

As mentioned earlier, our performance featured understudy Nikisha Williams as Celie. Nikisha definitely has the pipes, and is the understudy for several leading characters, so I have no doubt her range is vast. However, partially due to how the character is written, there was just no life to the performance. Celie is a shy, unsure-of-herself young lady that basically just does what is expected of her. Unfortunately, there was barely any emotion in this performance causing for me to lose interest in her story… even with as awful of an ordeal the character is dragged through.

A potential downfall for me is also the shows dependency on God’s plan and His mysterious ways. Yes, religious motivation for this setting and timeframe is fitting, but the morality is lost upon me when the story calls to look at what God is capable of when Celie and other women go through absolutely horrendous, despicable things. This story should remain focused on how the women were able to standup and overcome on their own through sisterhood… with maybe a little help from a higher being. I am unapologetic on my views to this, and this view is in noway influenced by the #TimesUp movement.

After several listens to the Broadway cast recordings, a few songs like “Our Prayer”, “Big Dog” and “Hell No” create one of the more memorable strings of songs. After the show, only a couple of these stood out with “Hell No” taking top ranks in the most memorable number thanks to much of this comedic relief. THE COLOR PURPLE is a truly beautiful listen, but the show blends into one image with no change in sets and props that are entirely made up of sheets, baskets, and wooden chairs. OH, and more sheets! I have never seen so much folding of sheets in my life.

These qualms may come across as petty, but this is me. I love to be transported into the scene, and some shows can achieve by powerful dialogue and performances that pull you into the scene. THE COLOR PURPLE unfortunately never found that moment. Instead the show turns a life that was filled of hurtful dominance from terrible men into a melancholy tale that searches more for Celie’s sister Nettie rather than the women’s equality.

THE COLOR PURPLE could thrive on this tour with some more star power. They don’t need to be celebrities, but they need to have that something special in their stage presence. There are standout performances, especially Carla R. Stewart in the role of Shug Avery. But, even with a select few showstoppers, the context doesn’t help elevate these numbers to the stardom they may deserve. Those already in love the film probably shouldn’t skip the stage production. Those looking for a soulful, influential, woman empowerment tale may need to look elsewhere.

The Color Purple is playing at Segerstrom Center for the Arts thru June 24th.

AMC Theaters Debuts Exclusive Stubs A-List Subscription Service

AMC Theaters is providing a new twist in the movie game, revealing a new premium subscription service and loyalty program called AMC Stubs A-List. This move is a direct response to popular services, such as MoviePass, which allows movie fans the chance to see films for a monthly fee rather than an individual ticket purchase. AMC’s program will up the ante, providing direct to consumer options to keep up with the shifting tide in movie viewing.

The program will offer guests the opportunity to view movies up to 3 times per week, including multiple movies per day, repeat visits to already seen films, and compatibility for all pre-existing AMC Stubs members. The new service will cost $19.95 a month plus tax.

The service can be used at all AMC locations, including AMC Dine In as well as AMC Classic throughout the US. This will also include all premium offerings such as IMAX, Dolby Cinema, RealD 3D, Prime, and BigD. This is done to create flexibility and to avoid restrictions in using the service.

All AMC Stubs A-List members can book tickets online in advance, similar to their existing programs, which include waived fees, priority lines for food and beverage, special discounts at concessions, as well as reserved seating. The new service is timed to sync with traditional opening weekends, but there is no carry over if users see less than 3 films a week. Advance reservations can be held for a maximum of 3 movies at any one time in the current or for future weeks.

For all current existing AMC Stubs Premiere members, the $15 annual fee will also be waived when transitioning to the new A-List service. The service will also be based through the AMC App, which will remove waiting periods and credit checks that standard services currently use.

“We believe that our current and future loyal guests will be interested in this type of program, as AMC Stubs A-List rewards guests with something that no one else offers: the very best of AMC, including IMAX, Dolby Cinema and RealD 3D up to 3 times per week, for one simple, sustainable price,” said Adam Aron, CEO and President, AMC Theatres.

Aron added, “Since its inception in 2011, AMC Stubs has continued to evolve to meet the needs of its customers, as it did in 2016 when we introduced the free tier, AMC Stubs Insider. AMC Stubs A-List is AMC’s next evolution of delivering amazing benefits to our loyal customers, and we’re excited to continue to grow the program by leaps and bounds.”

Starting on Tuesday, June 26, AMC Stubs A-List members can enroll online for $19.95 a month (plus tax) and can begin using their benefits immediately.
