A new adventure featuring Mando, the titular Mandalorian from The Mandalorian, is coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. And yes, Grogu’s coming along for the ride, too. This exciting update to Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run will debut on May 22, 2026.
During The Future of World-Building at Disney panel at SXSW, The Mandalorian creator and Disney Legend Jon Favreau was joined onstage by Imagineers Leslie Evans and Asa Kalama to talk about what’s coming soon to Batuu.
“One of the cool things about Disney is how we can tell our stories in so many different formats,” Favreau told the crowd. “We’re already taking Mando and Grogu from the TV screen to the movie screen, and at the same time, [The Mandalorian executive producer] Dave [Filoni] and I are working with Asa to bring this story to the Disney parks, too.”
It’s something that can only be done at Disney, bringing avid Star Wars fans closer to the stories they know and love via the innovative magic at Disney Parks. This update is only a parsec or two away — both the movie and this update to Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run will debut on May 22, 2026.
“Opening an attraction and a such a massive movie on the same day wouldn’t be possible without the relationships we have inside Disney,” Kalama added. “Jon and Dave have shared their story with us, and now we’ve all worked together to come up with a new mission for Smugglers Run that plays into this narrative.”
Working alongside The Mandalorian team, the Imagineers captured scenes for the attraction on the movie set, and you might see some familiar (and beloved) locations aboard the Falcon. Care for a trip to Cloud City, anyone?
But that’s not the only thing making the jump from the parks to the movies, and vice versa. You might have seen the playful BDX droids puttering around Disneyland before, and soon they’ll make a trip around the world to visit Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris. And that’s in addition to the little droids appearing in The Mandalorian, too.
Going from Imagineering to the parks, to their feature film debut, is a lot for the droids. With all this work, they’re sure to need a tune-up eventually and don’t worry, Imagineering already has the right creature for the job.

Pixar Animation Studios and Disney+ shared the first episode of the critically acclaimed new series “Win or Lose” on YouTube today (you can watch the full episode below). LEGOLAND Resorts have joined forces to launch the LEGO Festival, the first ever celebration of its kind! Designed to be a child’s first festival, it’s where LEGO play comes to life on an epic scale. With dancing, rocking, building and gaming, it’s set to be the most epic reminder to keep playtime a priority. LEGO Festival kicks off May 3 and runs for six weekends at seven LEGOLAND Resorts globally until World Play Day on June 11th.

At this incredible model, each child is given a Festival lanyard before embarking on their journey to experience all five zones and ultimately making their “Play Pact” at the end of the day.

Disney has released an exciting special look and unveiled a brand-new poster and images for the highly anticipated second season of Lucasfilm’s Emmy®-nominated thriller “Andor,” which returns for its long-awaited conclusion on April 22. The special look, available now on Disney+ and YouTube, offers a glimpse at the making of Season 2 of the compelling series, in which the characters and their relationships will intensify as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Everyone will be tested and, as the stakes rise, the betrayals, sacrifices and conflicting agendas will become profound.
Rife with political intrigue, danger, tension, and high stakes, the series is a prequel to “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which portrayed a heroic band of rebels who steal the plans to the Empire’s weapon of mass destruction: The Death Star, setting the stage for the events of the original 1977 film. “Andor” sets the clock back five years from the events of “Rogue One” to tell the story of the film’s hero, Cassian Andor, and his transformation from disinterested, cynical nobody into a rebel hero on his way to an epic destiny.
The final season will unfold over 12 episodes broken down into four chapters of three episodes each. The first chapter will premiere April 22, with subsequent chapters debuting each week.
“Andor” Season 2 stars Diego Luna, Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O’Reilly, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, Elizabeth Dulau, Alan Tudyk, with Ben Mendelsohn and Forest Whitaker. The series was created by Tony Gilroy, who also serves as an executive producer along with Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna, Luke Hull and John Gilroy. The LEGO Group, in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company, has unveiled the enchanting LEGO Disney Beauty and the Beast Castle Set. The latest in the Disney Castle range, this new LEGO set is a beautiful brick recreation of the iconic castle from the Beauty and the Beast animated film.
The 2,916-piece set features four-detailed levels with multiple rooms, including a ballroom with a spinning floor, a dining room with a table and spinning platters, and a tower room showcasing the enchanted rose. Builders can celebrate the story of Beauty and the Beast through the intricate details of this new set.

The LEGO Group has unveiled its largest product portfolio at Toy Fair 2025, highlighted by the first sets from the newly revealed LEGO® Bluey™ theme in partnership with BBC Studios. Parents hide items and figures behind the windows of the house. Toddlers twist the spinner to see which paired items they need to find. To make the match, they open the windows and use memory skills to remember where their pair is hiding.
LEGO Bluey Playground Fun with Bluey and Chloe, 11201 (4+): This versatile preschool playground toy features minifigures of TV dogs Bluey and Chloe in a vibrantly colored playground, complete with seesaw, slide, jungle gym and rotating pelican ride. At Toy Fair 2025, the LEGO Group has also unveiled the LEGO Ideas River Steamboat set, a new intricately detailed 4,090-piece model designed for adult builders 18+ and history enthusiasts alike. Designed as part of the LEGO Ideas program, the set consists of a detailed pilothouse, crew cabin, and bathroom on the texas deck; a lively music stage and restaurant on the main deck; and a kitchen and museum on the boiler deck.
This engaging model includes functional elements such as a working paddle connected to a ‘steam’ engine, a rudder activated by the ship’s wheel, and removable decks for easy access to the interior. This set will be available at LEGO Stores and at LEGO.com only upon initial release on April 10 (available to LEGO Insiders starting April 7).
Further, expanding upon the LEGO | Marvel collection is the newly revealed LEGO | Marvel Avengers: Endgame Final Battle set. Builders can recreate the iconic final showdown from Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame, flying into battle through sling ring portals with Captain America, Iron Man, a supersized Ant-Man mech, Wanda Maximoff, Doctor Strange, Iron Spider, Black Panther and Falcon minifigures to take on Thanos and his evil horde. The versatile set, designed for ages 10 and up, tests an array of heroic powers, allowing builders to rearrange the structure and characters to enhance play-and-display possibilities.
Among the other sets on display will be the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 series, reinforcing the company’s commitment to appealing to all price points.
