Today, the LEGO Group and SEGA revealed a fresh collaboration bringing fan-favorite characters and environments from across the Sonic universe to brick form. With the brand new ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ product range from the LEGO Group, Sonic fans can build, create and play as Sonic, Tails, Amy and Dr. Eggman in beloved levels including Sonic’s Speed Sphere, Tails’s Workshop and Tornado Plane, Amy’s Animal Rescue Island and the iconic Green Hill Zone. The LEGO Sonic product range will be available at authorized retailers starting in August 2023.

The LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog collaboration features four sets of different sizes and complexity with modular elements inviting Sonic fans to build high-velocity obstacles for Sonic to blast through as he battles the Badniks and rescues his friends. Sonic fans can get creative, construct their own unique courses, combine sets, and invent new storylines, or reminisce their treasured memories as they challenge the beloved hedgehog to be the hero of the day.
With all-new toy accessories, builders will have unique role-playing opportunities where they can step into the Blue Blur’s iconic red sneakers and spend time with his famous friends, hang out at the DJ deck, repair the Tornado plane, and do more fun activities.
The product range from SEGA and the LEGO Group furthers the global companies’ collaborative efforts, following the highly successful LEGO Ideas Sonic the Hedgehog™ Green Hill Zone set, released in 2021.
“It really isn’t like anything else! The sets offer an entirely new, action-packed play experience,” says Frédéric Roland Andre, Designer at the LEGO Group. “I’m especially proud of the Speed Sphere, as it was quite a challenge to figure out how we would get Sonic to speed up and interact with each course. Sonic is known for his speed and how he runs and jumps through courses, so for LEGO sets inspired by him there was no way we could create a static set, we simply had to be creative and make them as action-packed as possible!”

The El Capitan Theatre is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Lucasfilm’s “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi” with an opening night fan event and a Trilogy Day. All tickets for “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi” are on sale now.
The Opening Night Fan Event will start at 8:00 pm on Friday, April 28. Tickets are $40 and include one assorted Funko Pop, Popcorn, Beverage, Credential, and Lanyard.
The trilogy screenings will take on Saturday, April 29, with “Star Wars: A New Hope” beginning at 12 pm, “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back” beginning at 3:30 pm, and “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi” beginning 7:00 pm. Each screening is sold separately.

The Sith Lord
In the times of the Old Republic, there were legions of Sith. However, that all changed when the rule of two was introduced, which stated that there may be no more than two Sith at any given time, the master and the apprentice. Luckily for you, no such rule exists when it comes to this sinfully delicious twist on the Kir Royale, now aptly named The Sith Lord. You may have as many as your heart desires! This villainous red-tinctured drink is a swanky cocktail perfect for sipping from the throne room of the Death Star, or in the cockpit of an Imperial Star Destroyer as you hunt down Jedi scum. Be careful though! This champagne-based drink is the pathway to such a great time, that it could be considered “unnatural.”

1 ounce Sammy’s Beach Bar Red Head Rum, divided
4 ounces chilled champagne
Garnish: fresh lemon twist
Preparation: Add half the rum to a chilled champagne flute. Slowly add the chilled champagne until ½ inch from the top. Top with the remaining rum. Garnish with a fresh lemon twist.

The Rebel Princess aka Sammy’s Coconut Mojito
6-8 fresh mint leaves
1 ½ teaspoons brown sugar
½ ounce fresh lime juice
1 ½ ounces of Sammy’s Beach Bar Platinum Rum
2 ounces coconut water
1 ½ ounces Cocó Lopez Cream of Coconut
1 ounce soda water
Rim: coconut cream and toasted coconut flakes
Garnish: fresh mint sprig
Preparation: Dip the rim of a rocks glass in some coconut cream then roll the moistened rim in toasted coconut flakes. In a prepared glass, add the mint leaves, brown sugar, and lime juice. Using a muddler, gently (yet firmly) muddle the ingredients. Then fill with ice and add the rum, coconut water, and coconut cream. Stir well and top with soda water. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig.

We guarantee that you’ll be sucking this one up to the last drop like a Jawa who just found droids wandering the desert.
The Jawa Roast aka Red Head Roast
1 ½ ounces Sammy’s Redhead Rum
½ ounce Kahlúa Coffee Liqueur
2 ½ ounces iced coffee
½ ounce simple syrup
¾ ounce cream
Garnish: freshly grated nutmeg and cinnamon
Preparation: In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the rum, liquor, iced coffee, simple syrup, and cream. Shake well and strain into a chilled rocks glass. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg and cinnamon.

Kyber Crystal Jello Shots
1 package (3 ounces) Jell-O fruit flavor gelatin (lime, strawberry; your choice)
⅔ cup boiling water
⅔ cup cold water
⅔ cup Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum
Preparation: In a suitable bowl, add the Jell-O gelatin. Add the boiling water and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved, about 2 minutes. Add the cold water and Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum. Stir well to incorporate. Divide the mixture into mini plastic disposable cups (about 2 ounces each) and refrigerate until firm.

Preparation: Roll the rim of a chilled martini glass in some honey. Then gently roll the honey rim in crushed graham cracker and set the glass aside. In celebration of James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water now available on Digital only, Disney will be offering a special exhibition at Lighthouse Artspace in Los Angeles where fans can step into the stunning world of Avatar.
Combining the groundbreaking technology of the Lighthouse’s experiential art exhibits and the remarkable Oscar award-winning visual effects of the film, this immersive experience will showcase some of the most stunning scenes featured in Avatar: The Way of Water, including underwater at the Metkayina Clan village.
Additional elements of the event will include props and costumes from the film, as well as life-size statues.
“The Art of Avatar: The Way of Water – An Immersive Experience” will be available for free to fans over Earth Day weekend to commemorate the annual event that demonstrates support for environmental protection. The sound design complements the visuals, with iconic Disney scores and character voice-overs from the original movies. These elements come together seamlessly, providing an immersive and magical gaming experience.
Disney Speedstorm offers fast-paced racing with tight controls and responsive handling. Players can choose from a wide variety of Disney and Pixar characters, each with unique abilities and customizable karts. This adds depth and variety to the gameplay, as players experiment with different combinations to find the perfect match for their playstyle. At launch, the following Characters will be available: Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Hercules, Megara, Mulan, Shang, Jack Sparrow, Elizabeth Swann, Belle, the Beast, Mowgli, and Baloo. Coming soon as part of Season 1 are: Sulley, Mike Wazowski, Celia Mae, and Randall.
The game features a variety of game modes, including a single-player campaign, multiplayer races, and time trials. The single-player campaign takes players on a journey through different Disney worlds, unlocking new characters and tracks while competing against challenging AI opponents. The multiplayer mode offers both online and local split-screen, allowing friends and family to join in on the fun.
The power-up system adds a layer of strategy, with players collecting Disney-themed power-ups to gain an advantage in races adding excitement to the gameplay. While Disney Speedstorm offers a polished racing experience, it occasionally suffers from minor frame rate drops and glitches, particularly during high-intensity moments. These issues, however, do not detract significantly from the overall gameplay experience.

*The Golden Pass is a season-based mission system inspired by the idea of a “Battle Pass” used to reward players for completing various missions and tasks during an in-game season. Every Disney Speedstorm Season will have its own Golden Pass that is the main source of rewards while that Season is active. Golden Pass Credits can be used by players to unlock the premium tier of the Golden Pass that grants access to an extra layer of Seasonal rewards like liveries, suits, currencies, racers, and much more. During Early Access, new themed Seasons, each with a free and premium tier of rewards, will be added to the game every 6-8 weeks bringing new Disney and Pixar-related content like racers, unique tracks, and challenges.

A new featurette, “A World Reimagined,” from Disney’s “The Little Mermaid,” which provides an exclusive look at the live-action reimaging of the studio’s animated musical classic, has been released. “The Little Mermaid,” helmed by visionary filmmaker Rob Marshall, opens exclusively in theaters nationwide on May 26, 2023.
“The Little Mermaid” is the beloved story of Ariel, a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. The youngest of King Triton’s daughters and the most defiant, Ariel longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea and, while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric. While mermaids are forbidden to interact with humans, Ariel must follow her heart. She makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, which gives her a chance to experience life on land but ultimately places her life and her father’s crown in jeopardy.

Disney+ has revealed the official trailer for the new Original series “The Muppets Mayhem,” starring Lilly Singh, Tahj Mowry, Saara Chaudry, and The Electric Mayhem Band. The musical comedy series premieres with all episodes on May 10, only on Disney+.
“The Muppets Mayhem” follows The Electric Mayhem Band — Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Animal on drums, Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, Janice on vocals and lead guitar, Zoot on saxophone and Lips on trumpet — on an epic, music-filled journey to record their first-ever studio album. With the help of a driven young music executive, Nora Singh (Singh), the old-school Muppet band comes face-to-face with the current-day music scene as they try to finally record their first studio album.
