Dwayne Johnson, star and producer of Disney’s “Jungle Cruise,” took to social media to break the exciting news that “Jungle Cruise” will release day and date in theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access on Friday, July 30.
Inspired by the famous Disneyland theme park ride, Disney’s “Jungle Cruise” is an adventure-filled, rollicking thrill-ride down the Amazon with wisecracking skipper Frank Wolff and intrepid researcher Dr. Lily Houghton. Lily travels from London, England to the Amazon jungle and enlists Frank’s questionable services to guide her downriver on La Quila—his ramshackle-but-charming boat.
Lily is determined to uncover an ancient tree with unparalleled healing abilities—possessing the power to change the future of medicine. Thrust on this epic quest together, the unlikely duo encounters innumerable dangers and supernatural forces, all lurking in the deceptive beauty of the lush rainforest. But as the secrets of the lost tree unfold, the stakes reach even higher for Lily and Frank and their fate—and mankind’s—hangs in the balance.
Jaume Collet-Serra directs the film, which stars Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Edgar Ramírez and Jack Whitehall, with Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti. The September 14th return of Broadway – kicked off by Hamilton, The Lion King and Wicked – was announced this morning in a joint appearance on ‘Good Morning America.’ This rare alliance between Broadway’s three highest-profile hits sends a message that Broadway is united in its commitment to ending a devastating period of hardship for the tens of thousands who make their living directly on Broadway shows and the tens of thousands of independent industries.

Gonzo and Pepe the King Prawn announced the Muppets’ first-ever Halloween special, “Muppets Haunted Mansion,” debuting this fall exclusively on Disney+. The brand-new special will feature a star-studded Muppets cast, celebrity cameos, all-new music, and spooky fun for families to enjoy together.
The announcement was made on Friday, May 7 to help celebratethe Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products’ “Halfway to Halloween” event.
“Muppets Haunted Mansion” takes place on Halloween night, when Gonzo is challenged to spend one very daring night in the most grim grinning place on Earth…The Haunted Mansion.
Avengers Campus cast members have assembled at Disney California Adventure park. Their mission: Gear up in their brand-new costumes as they prepare Avengers Campus to begin recruiting Guests on June 4.
“Our cast members play a unique part in the guest experience,” said Joe Kucharski, senior costume designer. “These costumes are designed to help them embody their role in this epic story.”
Taking on unique roles, cast members in Avengers Campus are known as Campus Representatives, and the costumes they wear are inspired by each individual address within the campus. These looks were created to be cool and comfortable while helping to ground Guests in the immersive storytelling of the land.
Campus Representatives at WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure and WEB Suppliers will wear pieces that feature modern, techy emblems and materials made of lightweight, breathable fabrics with stretch for movement and flexibility.
Over at Pym Test Kitchen featuring IMPOSSIBLE, they will take on unique pieces like a Pym pocket protector, lab coat, hat and tie. Giving a nod to the growing and shrinking science used to create shareable bites and sweets at this location, these costumes feature a large “Pym Particle” on the hat and much smaller pattern on the tie.
The campus uniform includes cargo bottoms, a training shirt and a tactical-inspired vest that are comfortable, lightweight and breathable, so cast can be ready to take on any mission that comes their way.

In honor of May the 4th, Walt Disney World has just revealed that the highly anticipated Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser experience will blast off and make its maiden voyage in 2022, fully immersing galactic visitors of all ages into a Star Wars experience like no other. The adventure begins when guests arrive at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser terminal at Walt Disney World and check-in for their two-night experience.
Guests will enter a Launch Pod to begin their Star Wars story. Through windows above, they’ll see themselves leave their world behind as they jump into hyperspace and draw closer and closer to the massive and magnificent Halcyon starcruiser.
When the Launch Pod docks with the starcruiser and the airlock opens, guests will step into the ship’s main deck Atrium to begin their journey through a galaxy far, far away.
An All-Immersive Experience
A visit aboard the Halcyon starcruiser plunges guests into a multi-day, interactive story that interweaves with members of the crew, other passengers, familiar Star Wars characters and others. Guests may encounter the starcruiser’s strong and charismatic captain, the ship’s plucky mechanic, heroes of the Resistance or many more as they choose alliances and chart their courses.
The all-immersive experience features enthralling onboard activities, such as:
Learning the ancient ways of the lightsaber and facing off against a training remote, where guests may discover their own connection with the Force.
Visiting the starcruiser’s Bridge to learn about its systems and how to operate them, including navigation and defense – skills that may come in handy during a journey through this adventure-filled galaxy.

On May the 4th, otherwise known as Star Wars Day, Disney+ will release a brand-new original Star Wars series, “Star Wars: The Bad Batch;” a first-of-its-kind Star Wars-themed short from “The Simpsons;” and multiple themed cinematic experiences in celebration of a galaxy far, far away.
As a special treat for fans, Disney+ will debut “Maggie Simpson in ‘The Force Awakens From Its Nap,’” a new Star Wars-inspired short, bringing characters from the Star Wars galaxy to the fictional town of Springfield. The new promotional short is the first of several from “The Simpsons” that Disney+ will release throughout the year paying tribute to the service’s marquee brands and titles.
Additionally, to celebrate the creativity and artistry of the Star Wars community, Lucasfilm and Disney+ have commissioned original artwork to take over the service for several days – a first for the platform. A global group of artists and Star Wars fans has created illustrations representing an assortment of Star Wars movies and original series, bringing them to life in their own unique styles. Now that LEGOLAND California Resort is back open after being closed for 13 months, the family theme park in Carlsbad, CA, is excited to announce the opening of THE LEGO® MOVIE™ WORLD on May 27, 2021. In just a few weeks away,kids and families will step onto the streets of Bricksburg and experience the Park’s newest and biggest adventure which brings the blockbuster films THE LEGO® MOVIE™ and THE LEGO® MOVIE™ 2: The Second Part, to life.
The new land fully immerses guests into THE LEGO MOVIE universe and features six interactive attractions for all to enjoy. The flagship ride, Emmet’s Flying Adventure, allows guests to hop aboard Emmet’s triple-decker flying couch for a thrill-seeking race against his friends. In addition to Emmet’s Flying Adventure, children and their families will be able to enjoy the rush of falling from Unikitty’s Disco Drop and experiencing the many personalities of the fearless feline.
The adventure doesn’t stop there as guests can explore Benny’s Play Ship, ride Queen Watevra’s Carousel, create at Build Watevra You Wa’Na Build zone, meet Emmet and all his friends in Emmet’s Super Suite and enjoy tasty themed treats such as Cloud Cuckoo Crepes throughout the land.
The LEGO MOVIE WORLD will be included in the price of admission to LEGOLAND California Resort.
